The Details

Our ceremony and reception will be held at Merryfield Farm in Arrowtown on Sunday 3 January 2027. Everything you need to know for the day is below.

Timeline for the day

3:00pm – Arrive at Merryfield and grab a welcome drink.

3:30pm – Ceremony begins.

4:00 pm – Drinks and nibbles will be available following the ceremony.

5:30 pm – Pizzas and sides will start rolling out. All dietary requirements shared with us have been accounted for. If you have not yet shared your dietary requirements, please do so asap so we can pass this on.

8:00 pm – Dance floor kicks off inside.

11:30pm – The night wraps up and it's time to head home.

What to wear

We aren’t too fussy but to try be helpful and give some direction, we are going for a summer garden party vibe.

Think linen, florals, flowy dresses, light suits or just a nice shirt and pants.

Parking

There's parking on site at Merryfield, and you're welcome to leave your car there overnight and collect it the next morning.

 

Getting home

Taxis get busy around Queenstown over New Year, and fewer drivers are out late in Arrowtown on a Sunday. Please book your ride home in advance so you're not stuck waiting too long at the end of the night.

Recovery day

Assuming the weather plays ball, we are planning to park up by the lake from about 11:30 am on 4 January. The tenantive plan is to set up at Kelvin Grove beach at the end of Kelvin Heights and we’d love for you to join us.

Feel free to drop by for as long or as little as you’d like.

We will keep an eye on the forecast closer to the time and circulate a back up plan if it looks like we might need one.
